Dick’s Sporting Goods?
A friend reccommended that I get a $60 Abu Garcia Silver Max baitcaster reel with a Berkley Lightning Rod. The problem is the pole is one piece and I would like to know if Dick’s had any two piece poles in that setup or if they would let me switch out poles because a one piece pole thats 6′6 wouldn’t fit in my car’s trunk.
Wal-mart has the same reel for $10.00 less. I have never seen a two piece Lightning Rod. Not sure if they come in a two piece model, but you can get them at Wal-mart too. You may want to go with another rod brand. The Abu is a good reel, you may want to pair it with a St Croix, All Star, or Falcon rod.
